The Hawks added two more players to their injury list with Daniel Hamilton and Omari Spellman to miss the start of training camp.

Hamilton, a guard/forward, injured his shoulder earlier this month. An MRI exam on Sept. 11 revealed a tear in his right rotator cuff. Hamilton will pursue an non-surgical treatment plan and has already begun an on-court rehab plan. He will be re-evaluated in a week.

Spellman, a rookie forward, experienced left shin soreness last week. An MRI exam showed soft tissue inflammation. He is listed as out for 7-10 days with a gradual return to activity.

Jeremy Lin, who suffered a ruptured patella tendon of his right knee in the season opener with the Nets last season, has returned to basketball activities with limited restrictions and will participate in training camp.

As previously reported by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, guard/forward Justin Anderson (left leg tibial stress syndrome) and center Dewayne Dedmon (left ankle avulsion fracture) will miss the start of training camp.
