An investigation blocked two left lanes on I-20 West after a MARTA bus was involved in a crash with two other vehicles Tuesday.

Two passengers were injured when a MARTA bus collided with two other vehicles on I-20 in east Atlanta on Tuesday morning.

Their injuries are not considered serious, according to the transit agency. The cause of the crash, which happened about 7:30 a.m. near Bill Kennedy Way, is under investigation.

Police blocked off multiple westbound lanes for several hours, creating tough delays on the interstate during the morning drive. The wreck was moved into an HOV lane just before 9 a.m. and later cleared, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

Paramedics and MARTA officials also responded to the scene. Another bus was brought in to help the passengers still on board, MARTA spokeswoman Stephany Fisher told AJC.com.

Two people on the MARTA bus reported injuries as a result of the wreck, but none are considered serious, according to the transit agency.
