Second homicide suspect in custody; 1 still at large

Eric Bridges turned himself in to the West Point Police Department on Monday, police said.

Two of three suspects tied to a homicide in Troup County are now in custody, authorities said.

Eric Bridges, 25, turned himself in to West Point police Monday afternoon, according to a news release. He is being held in the Troup County Jail.

Octavious Bridges, 24, was arrested in Fairburn on Friday morning, and Trent Murphy, 24, is still sought by police.

The three are accused of shooting and killing Reggie Pearson, 50, of Valley, Ala., police said.
