Rodney Ellis was found Jan. 23 with at least three gunshot wounds to the head.  He died three days later at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Now authorities are hoping a $10,000 reward from Crimestoppers will help them make an arrest in the unsolved case.

"Rodney was a kind soul and very free spirited," family members wrote on a GoFundMe page. "He was creative in producing music, skateboarding skills and designing for his own personal clothing line."

When Atlanta police were called to the 900 block of Pryor Street just before 9:30 p.m. they found shattered glass on the hood of Ellis’ car and several bullet casings on the ground, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, text information to 274637 or visit crimestoppersatlanta.org. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000.
