On Nov. 8, three people were found dead within hours in one South Georgia county, all from fentanyl and cocaine toxicity.
After arresting one man in late December on charges of felony murder, the GBI has now arrested a second man in connection with the Camden County deaths, according to a news release.

Rashaad Penta Hines, 41, of St. Marys, was arrested Tuesday and charged in the death of Andrew Jacob Bargman, 57. In addition to murder, Hines is charged with one count of the distribution or sale of a controlled substance. He is in the Camden County jail with no bond, jail records show.
Another man, 39-year-old Alonzo Davis, was arrested the day of the deaths on outstanding warrants. Then in late December, additional warrants were taken out on Davis, including for the murder of Antone Moncrieff, 27. Davis also faces two counts of the distribution or sale of a controlled substance.
No arrests have been made in the death of Melissa Nelson, 41.
“We have no additional information to release at this time,” GBI special agent Stacy Carson told AJC.com.

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50 times more potent than heroin. The drug is partly responsible for a recent surge in overdose deaths in some parts of the country.
The GBI, the Kingsland Police Department, the St. Marys Police Department and the Camden County Sheriff’s Office investigated the three deaths and determined there was a connection.
